, The Tolkien, and Go Ask Alice.
MEDIA
SERVICES
Media
Services Department provides resources and equipment
through which ideas and information are made available
to the students, staff and community. The
facilities of the department include a high school
media center, a junior high school media center, and a
television studio.
Each media center has a computer lab for
student use. We
are a member of the Central Jersey Regional Library
Cooperative. Mr.
Carl Penn is the District Supervisor of Media
Services. Other memberships include the American Library Association,
and the Library Association of Ocean County.

Media
Services Department is involved in resource sharing,
interlibrary loan, telecommunications, distance
learning and the high school access television channel
sponsored by Comcast Cable in Toms River, New Jersey.
The channel serves the towns of Little Egg
Harbor, Tuckerton, and West Creek with up-to-date
community information as well as information from the
school districts in those towns.
The primary thrust of this channel is to
provide information and bulletins from the Pinelands
Regional School District and the Communities Channel
21 WCAT-TV serves.
Also handled by the Media Services Department are the District Fines and Obligations, Lost and Found, District Vending, Mentoring, In-services, Golden Age Club, and Public Relations.
