Pinelands Regional School District World Language
Department offers the experience of communication
in the languages of French and Spanish. The curriculum
includes a sequence of language study, ranging as high
as the fifth level of honors credit in both target
languages.
Students are actively
engaged at all levels, with myriad opportunities to
practice real life tasks through interaction with each
other and the classroom teacher in verbal and written
contexts. Since culture is an integral part of world
language learning, culture awareness activities are
woven into the curriculum to create a powerful
learning experience, promoting a global understanding
needed to function in cultural settings.
